Bastrop Youth Career Day

The City of Bastrop, Bastrop Economic Development Corporation, Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, and Workforce Solutions have once again partnered with Bastrop Independent School District to host the Annual Bastrop Youth Career Day.

"Youth Career Day is a great opportunity for students of all ages in Bastrop ISD," stated Amanda Brantley, director of  College Career and Military Readiness in BISD, about this year's coming event. "It is a venue where businesses in our community interact directly with our students. For younger students, YCD will expand their awareness about what future careers are possible right here in Bastrop. And for our older students, YCD creates an immediate opportunity for businesses that need employees to connect to the students looking for career opportunities. This is also a great opportunity for our graduates who are going off to college to see that Bastrop has a lot to offer when they get their degree."
